Bacterial enteritis. Food poisoning. Diarrhoeas, Bacillary dysentery, Giardiasis.

Contraindication: What are the special precautions to be followed?

Under following conditions, use of this medication is inadvisable. Its use should be withhold as it would cause harm to the patient
Intolerance to alcohol. Hypersensitivity Below the age of one month.

Other Precaution to be observed while taking this medication

Pregnancy. G6PD deficiency.

What are possible side effects of this medication ?

Hypersensitivity, hypoglycaemia, orthostatic, hypotension, dizziness, drowsiness, headache, malaise, nausea, vomiting, rash, fever, arthralgia, brown urine, haemolytic anaemia. Agranulocytosis.
