Control and prevention of pain and dysfunction caused by smooth muscle spasm. Biliary and renal colics: Cholelithiasis, cholecystitis, nephrolithiasis. Peptic ulcer, spastic constipation, colitis, tenesmus, smooth muscle spasm provoked by instrumental diagnostic procedures. Obstetrics - to relax the constriction of osuteri.

Contraindication: What are the special precautions to be followed?

Under following conditions, use of this medication is inadvisable. Its use should be withhold as it would cause harm to the patient
Severe renal/hepatic/carduac dysfunction. Prophyria.

Other Precaution to be observed while taking this medication

Exercise caution in patients with renal/hepatic/cardiac dysfunction. Pregnancy.

What are possible side effects of this medication ?

It is free from CNS. Addiction, dryness of mouth and blurring of vision and blood dyscrasias. Vertigo, nausea, vomiting.
