Atrophic vaginitis, kraurosis.

Contraindication: What are the special precautions to be followed?

Under following conditions, use of this medication is inadvisable. Its use should be withhold as it would cause harm to the patient
Known or suspected, cancer of the breast, estrogen dependent neoplasia, pregnancy. Undiagnosed abnormal genital bleeding. Active thrombophlebitis or thromboembolic disorders.

Other Precaution to be observed while taking this medication

Fluid retention, epilepsy, migraine and cardiac or renal dysfunction. Metabolic bone diseases. Impaired liver functions. History of mental depression. Diabetes, pre-existing uterine leukomyomata.

What are possible side effects of this medication ?

Burning, itching and irritation.
