Indication : Why is this medication prescribed?

Prepubertal cryptorchidism. Infertility due to hypogonadotrophic hypogonadism. Delayed puberty associated with hypogonadism in males.

Contraindication: What are the special precautions to be followed?

Under following conditions, use of this medication is inadvisable. Its use should be withhold as it would cause harm to the patient
Hypersensitivity, precocious puberty, prostatic carcinoma or other androgenic dependent neoplasm. Contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.

Other Precaution to be observed while taking this medication

Discontinue therapy if signs of precocious puberty are seen in patients treated for cryptorchidism. Patients with cardiac or renal disease, epilepsy, migraine or asthma.

What are possible side effects of this medication ?

Cardiac or renal impairment.
