SofosbuvirIndication (Prescribed for or used as): Sofosbuvir is used along with ribavirin (Copegus, Rebetol) and sometimes another medication (peginterferon alfa [Pegasys] to treat chronic hepatitis C (an ongoing viral infection that damages the liver).
