Congestive heart failure, cardiac tachyarrhythmias (Paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia, atrial flutter and fibrillation.

Contraindication: What are the special precautions to be followed?

Under following conditions, use of this medication is inadvisable. Its use should be withhold as it would cause harm to the patient
Hypokalemia, ventricular tachycardia, partial A.V. block, acute myocarditis. Wolf parkinson-White Syndrome.

Other Precaution to be observed while taking this medication

Elderly, renal or severe hepatic diseas, myocardial infarction, thyrotoxicosis, calcium synergises to precipitate toxicity.

What are possible side effects of this medication ?

Anorexia, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, fatigue, headache, mental confusion, restlessness
